Exciting finish to the F1 Season. Shiyan, do you have the possibility to drive around the Belgian Grand Prix site at Spa ?

yes I was very pleasantly surprised Kimi won D.gif

I drove Spa 8 days ago, unfortunately I didn't get as much out of it as I could have due to inexperience. Video camera wasn't working right, and I overheated my brakes a bit too early by doing too many consecutive laps. But I had fun smile.gif

Spa seems a lot harder on the brakes compared to the Nurburgring.

I went for my 4th trip to the Nurburgring this Sunday (and the last of 2007):

Date: Sunday November 4th 2007.

The track was slightly wet in the morning, a dry line emerged early afternoon, and then late afternoon it was mostly dry, but grip levels were a little lower than normal dry days as it remained cloudy and cold (about 6~7 degrees C)

I think the slight dampness is visible around the edges of the track in the photos

a video of the last lap of the day: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4384591977714467069

8:59, so 6 seconds faster than that video I linked to on page 1, and I did it on a slightly damp track, with some traffic at the end facesjump.gif

my driving is slowly improving smile.gif

One of my friends took these photos, the best action shots of my car so far D.gif

Nurburgring, 11/5/2008 - waaaaaaaay too many cars and bikes turned up, was ridiculous

Arrived at 8:30, field was still relatively empty, so we parked close to the entrance

After we each did 1 lap, the track got closed, and the field was already full of cars by now

A whole lot of awesome in 1 picture

A VW?

mad ballin, son

I ended up doing 2 laps with an instructor, one with me driving, one with him driving my car, which was quite an eye opener

Spa Francorchamps, 12/5/2008

the Evo 8 owner and me shared a pit garage

me leaving the pits with an instructor

probably Rivage... bodyroll like eek4.gif eek4.gif eek4.gif (me in the silver helmet this time)
